Duties and Responsibilities: Website Administration and Content Design of websites and intranet pages.  Web and intranet pages must contain the following: 
1) Graphic layout; 2) Specific program content as provided by the Government; and 3) Support for photographs, video and audio streaming capability, and ability to support and be designed in accordance to the following:Establish an external portal to support public, unrestricted access to information and services.  The aggregate of information will be displayed in a cascading style sheet (CSS) format; and formats compatible with the major Internet browsing software platforms.
• Integrate the DoD Privacy and Security Notice.
• Comply with all these requirements per overall website design
• Comply with all current Department of Defense Information Assurance policies and security restrictions for the operation of Internet web sites.
• Govt will approve all content adjustments made to the external websites; 

Required Qualifications:

1) Creating and updating graphical layout and design; 2) Updating HTML pages; 3) Making changes to the HTML documents; 4) Writing any required Java applets; 5) Supporting CGI scripts, XML, HTML, CSS, .Net, ASP, Web services, PERL, Cold-Fusion; 6) Experienced in the PKE; and 7) Connections to back-up services; SQL Reporting Services and SQL databases.

The candidate shall also create computer-based graphics support for a web-publishing environment, to include logos, montages, icons, and banner headlines that support HTML 4.0 and/or the latest web publishing standards. Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience.

 

Desired Qualifications: Develops custom programs for web sites, which will attract and appeal to users, and provide desired information. Possess a wide range of knowledge of programming and server software operations. Create Web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB or other languages to make business applications accessible.
