CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE!!! The Opportunity: This is a contract position supporting the Classmates.com finance development team. This team is responsible for credit card transaction and storage management and custom finance software. We are looking for a person who enjoys the challenges of designing and developing in security-critical java applications that directly affect the company bottom-line.   As part of this small independent team, you will work on one of several projects aimed at substantial cost savings for the company. Your e-commerce and payment processing expertise will help us improve our credit card storage and transaction systems.   What you will be working on: Secure credit card storage system PCI compliance Credit card transaction software enhancements Custom financial transaction reconciliation and revenue recognition software enhancements   What you bring to Classmates: 5+ years of Java/J2SE development in a UNIX/LINUX environment 2+ years of commercial web application development Credit card transaction experience, including AVS, payment gateway integration, and recurring transactions Strong SQL and JDBC skills; experience with Oracle Beneficial Experience:  · ATG Dynamo 5.6.1 · Tomcat, Apache, Hibernate, WebWork · PCI compliance · Encryption principles and standards, including asynchronous encryption · General accounting concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping · Perl and shell scripting · Build and versioning tools like Ant and CVS     Who are we?
