Sales Specialist

iMessaging Systems is a software company developing solutions that provide telephony integration for IBM’s System i platform.  Our solutions help organizations improve the efficiency of telephone interactions with technologies such as IVR and call center management.  iMessaging is expanding because of a newly signed partner contract and this position offers the potential for growth and career development.  Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

 

iMessaging Systems, Inc. is looking for an energetic, highly-organized, self-motivated sales specialist to join our small team.  This is a new position and the individual selected will have a broad opportunity to work directly with the management team, learn the software business and have direct impact on the company’s success. 

 

 

Responsibilities / Skills Required:Excellent communications and presentation skills, including the ability to express thoughts in a clear, concise, organized manner.Knowledge of and comfort with learning technical products and selling technical solutions.Comfort and proficiency with telephone interactions including sales call, teleconference meeting and the like.Ability to understand and describe technical products and business issues (customer pain points).Strong written skills for presentation material, proposal development, partner development opportunities, and customer communications.  Ability to work independently. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.Experience with ACT Contact Management and the ability to learn and utilize a variety of pc and web based software tools.2+ years work related experience is preferred.Previous experience working with IVR, Call Center products or the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform is a plus.BA/BS degree in related subject matter.
