Sales Professional - Transportation Management Systems

Shippers Commonwealth, the leading provider of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), is seeking an experienced sales professional.   This position is responsible for developing and delivering qualified leads and to be part of client acquisition process.  Mix of outside and inside sales duties depends upon experience.

Principal Responsibilities: Closely work with the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing Conduct telemarketing / prospecting and lead generation programs, leveraging Company Webcasts and Open House events as aid to initiate sales dialogue  Develop new regions and markets as directed Manage all incoming requests including telephone, email, web Execute processes for appropriate lead qualification and development Secure names and contact information for potential targets Aid in driving leads through pipeline via targeted, compelling marketing campaigns

Position Requirements: 1- 2 years sales experience and strong entrepreneurial desire Lead generation and inside sales experience Rapid promotional opportunities Bachelor's degree preferred Solution sales experience preferred  Intensive training and guidance provided for right candidate who is self-starter and “go-getter� Excellent written and oral communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills are a must Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Must be detail/follow-through oriented
