Sales Operations Analyst/Manager

This position provides sales support to the VP and to Sales & Marketing in  support  management of sales operations activities to ensure compliance with departmental and organizational goals,

Major Duties & Responsibilities:  

This position provides sales support to the VP and to Sales & Marketing in  support  management of sales operations activities to ensure compliance with departmental and organizational goals,
This person is responsible for day to day administration, encompassing:

· Analyze, develop and produce adhoc reports and analysis.

· Acting as advisor to sales team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.

· Identify new initiatives for maximizing growth through marketing strategies.

· Track and analyze all sales related activities.

· Communicate directly with employees concerning productivity and accountability. 

· Pay close adherence to sales operations procedures (e.g., forecasting, tracking bids, territory planning and pipeline management).

· Assist in the development and recommendation of sales programs plus recommend short and long-term sales strategies of national, regional and individual sales plans.

· Support the sales team in planning, delivering sales messages during conferences, symposium events &/or presentations.

· Evaluate and implement appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department’s sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.

· Develop, run and distribute easy to read monthly dashboard reports to field sales personnel.  


 
Experience:  

· Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Marketing or Sales concentration preferred or equivalent work experience

· 3+ years experience in Sales Operations.  Previous software or Sales Operations experience in a software company is a plus. Experience with a start-up is an additional plus.

· Demonstrated understanding and application of finance principles, marketing concepts and strategy

· Vision and strategic skills to design and drive both short and long-term strategy for growth

· Effective leadership ability

· Ability to proactively interact with various individuals to ensure data for use in analysis is accurate and representative of true results  

· Demonstrated ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy in reporting  

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision  

· Advanced systems experience in MS Excel

· CRM Administration experience  is preferred
