Sales Account Manager
Account Manager – Education Segment
Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for sales management of a geographic sales territory. Into that territory the Account Manager will perform targeted outbound calls to accelerate the sales process and will handle a variety of inbound calls from customers seeking product and pricing information. They must possess strong selling skills, and be able to implement solution selling principles to identify prospect needs, sell solutions, communicate benefits, overcome objections and close. The Account Manager will occasionally go on outside sales calls, but will primarily work over the phone with K-12 and Higher-Ed Teachers, Administrators and Technology Coordinators. The Account Manager will also work closely with one or more Resellers to cultivate selected opportunities within a territory. The primary goal of the Account Manager is to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Primary ResponsibilitiesAchieve monthly and quarterly revenue goalsWork with Inside Sales Coordinators to strategically qualify leads and give them the proper disposition.Solid product knowledge of all NetOp products such that they can clearly explain the product and its benefits, as well as demonstrate the product features and their applications.Implement questioning to understand prospect needs and relate those to product solutions.Produce and deliver product proposals.Qualify customers ability and willingness to buy company productsWork effectively with teammates in the sales department as well as Operations/Order Entry, Marketing and Technical services departments.Deliver product presentations over the Web
