Support Analyst

 

Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Support Analyst with strong technical and service skill set to join the SaaS team, and provide application support across various areas of operations.

This team-oriented candidate will be responsible for supporting numerous business critical processes and their corresponding applications.

Candidate must posses the ability to multi-task, produce results under pressure, and effectively communicates with peers, and customers.

Excellent written and oral communication and ability to follow up on support incidents through to resolution are required.

 

Responsibilities:

· Provide ongoing operations and application support for our various hosted application solutions, including initial customer setup and deployment.

· Provide daily monitoring of communications between customer stores and data center servers

· Perform on-call (24 x 7) coverage, on rotational basis, in support of software and business applications (including SQL Server databases).

· Monitor, configure, tune, and recommend improvements to system performance.

 

This position requires candidate to posses the following attributes:

· Able to research technical problems and drive to resolution

 

Required Experience/Education:

· 2-3 years of proven technical support experience, preferably within the retail sector.

· Experience with Windows 2000/2003 Server and IIS.

· Expereince with SQL Server (2000/2005). Write SQL queries.

· Basic TCP/IP network troubleshooting experience.

· Experience in networking and security is a plus.

· Familiarity with server-class hardware from major vendors such as Dell, HP, etc. is a plus.

· Familiarity with Internet Technologies, Web Hosting, and Co-Location production/operations environments is a plus.
