SR. Test Engineer

JOB TITLE:

TEST ENGINEER

 

PROJECT SCOPE:

The Test Engineer will provide support and develop test cases, and definition of a test data set for the client. Additionally, candidate will actively participate in the Client test execution phase by testing systems requirements and post testing activities.  Currently, the project utilizes multiple copies of the production system to support testing requirements and this is not expected to be sustainable as the production system grows.

The engineer will support the planning of the initiative and the facilitation of meetings and interviews necessary to support the effort. The engineer will support the consolidation of findings and recommendations for the test data set and support briefing the results.�

REQUIRED SKILLS:Strong knowledge of testing required to support life cycle activities.Proficiency with Caliber RM tool.Experience with Mercury Testing tools – Test Director, QTP, Quality CenterExperience with Automated Test ScriptsExperience testing web based applications.Understanding of data definition and conversion activities Understanding of tools used to support data loads Familiarity with the defect management process Strong knowledge of SDLCStrong knowledge of System TestingUnderstanding of test metrics Familiarity with content management COTS software solutions Test Case development and execution experience Content management system experience Must be proactive Bachelors Degree in a related field and 5 years experience.
