SQL Developer Support EngineerDescription: SQL Developer Support Engineer Visual Basic .NET/6.0, C#/C/C++, ASP, ADO.NET, Relational Data Base Management System, RDBMS, Oracle, DB2, SQL, Sybase, Visual StudioThe Charlotte branch of a well known Software Development Manufacturer has a contract position available for a SQL Developer Support Engineer to work as part of a team as well as independently.Position Overview:In this role, you would be supporting a customer base that ranges from small developer and database environments to large, sophisticated enterprise customers. Candidates should be comfortable discussing complex technical scenarios and solutions, with varying customer skill levels leading to a deep understanding of the issue, root cause and resolution options.The SQL Developer team deals with Connectivity issues from applications to SQL Server and possibly other third party databases. There is also a programming component to the position that works with the data access pieces of customers' applications. SQL Engineers take SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) issues; they also work with all ODBC and OLEDB issues, as well as XML and JDBC issues.
