SQL Database Programmer
CompuSystems, a leader in trade show registration and exhibitor services technology for over 30 years, is seeking a results-oriented team player to fill an opening on our expanding Database Analyst/Programmer staff.

We develop registration databases and applications in accordance with customer specifications allowing for the processing of trade show registration credentials. We also create custom reports and manage import/export of data. Our environment is UNIX/Ingres.

Responsibilities:
Â
·   Database table population
·   Development of custom reports, confirmations, and badge formats
·   Managing the flow of data while ensuring its integrity
·   Creation of data import/export programs.
Â
REQUIREMENTS:
Â
·   Candidates with a strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and UNIX are required.
·   Shell scripting, C++, and Java are a plus.
·   Candidates must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, communicate to technical and non-technical users, exhibit a high level of problem solving skills, and possess detail-oriented mindset.
·   Adaptability, an enthusiastic, can-do attitude and solid communications skills are important for servicing internal clients.
