SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST---HEALTHCARE

We are searching for an experienced professional to join our growing Systems Analysis department as our new Senior Systems Analyst.  In this role you will be asked to work with minimal supervision and be responsible for assisting in various aspects of on going projects, in addition to other general assignments and tasks as needed.  Must be able to formulate and define software systems scope and objectives through research and fact finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.  The Analyst will then be tasked with taking this knowledge and creating or modifying moderate to complex information systems.  Must be able to research, analyze business user needs and document the requirements in addition to project manage the development of strategies to support business decision making and business process requirements.  In this role you must be able to perform software systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

 4-7 year prior experience in a similar role; candidates with prior healthcare experience are preferred; prior experience authoring functional specifications a must Demonstrated ability to plan and execute project plans including work breakdown, resource estimates activity planning, resource scheduling, project administration and status reportingAble to participate in program design, process modeling, business value analysis, business process design with an emphasis on developing and writing clear functional/technical business requirementsExcellent interpersonal skills that include both written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to interact with various levels of personnel including middle, senior and executive managementStrong working knowledge of the SDLC with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities; prior experience with web based technologies preferred
