SAS Consultant

ThotWave Technologies has a full-time opportunity for a skilled SAS consultant with excellent communication skills.  You may have a background in marketing analytics, user support, training or ETL programming – regardless, you will be someone who can hit the ground running and adapt quickly to new environments.

ThotWave consultants enjoy working on a variety of projects that are focused on delivering superior value to our clients. We utilize our experience and thot leadership in Business Intelligence and SAS development to provide solution definition, technical architecture, project management and delivery. ThotWave consultants understand all components of delivering intelligence for customers, from data integration to reporting and analytics.

For consideration, candidates must possess or demonstrate the following:

· 3 -5 years of solid Base SAS development or support experience in both Windows & Unix environments

· Thorough understanding of ETL, data quality & metadata

· Ability to think analytically with demonstrated solution definition skills

· Impeccable interpersonal communication skills

· Excellent written communication skills

· Consultative attitude

· Professional demeanor

· Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time within the US

* Please note that ThotWave does not have a physical office location and all employees are required to provide a home office with a high speed internet connection.

In addition, you should have most of the following:

· Experience working on full SDLC projects

· SAS Intelligence Platform experience (BI Server, SAS Data Integration, OLAP/MDX)

· An understanding of the application of information technology in a specific industry

· Working knowledge of web technologies

· Statistical knowledge
