SAP EDI/EAI Analyst: 2 locations, perm, global company

1.The Senior EDI/EAI Analyst has six major responsibilities
2.Design and develop state-of-art EDI solutions utilizing existing and new EAI technologies with high integration into the company*s ERP systems landscape
3.Managing/Administering the EDI environment for our Manufacturing and Distribution sites:
4.Support setup for run business (including systems monitoring, problem analysis & resolution, customer communication/ de-escalation, service level management)
5.Architect and build *next-generation* integration layer for the company*s global ERP platform
6.Act as an EAI subject matter expert for various parties: Customers (internal, external), Sales team, other IT groups
7.Be an active member of the company*s  *Enterprise Application Integration* Champions Group
8.Design and Development EAI solutions, mainly based on EDI industry standards
9.EAI System Monitoring (EDI GenTran Unix and AS/400 environment, SAP Integration Processing)
10.Structure and administer EAI environment (e.g. folder, connections) in conjunction with the Infrastructure team
11.Support run business: support all aspects of existing EAI setup. Ensure customer-, legal and internal specifications and requirements are met at all times. Keep Documentation up to date
12.Documentation: Keep documentation
13.Subject Matter Expert: Help other groups with EAI-related requests for their needs (take part in IT estimations, feasibility studies, error analysis; provide training/knowledge transfer, recommend solutions)
14.Architect for next-generation EAI environment: take part in the company*s EAI initative to build a common EAI layer for the global ERP systems landscape. Help with feasibility studies, product selection, piloting and implementation.
15.Champions Group: be an active member of the company*s EAI champions group. Exchange information with peers, provide input on your environment and constantly improve the company*s EAI setup
16.Supervise contractors and other external resources

Job requirements
Required
* IT Enterprise Application Integration: Sterling Gentran, SAP Business Connector, SAP XI, Webmethods, Seeburger
* Strong analytical skills
* Experience with SAP Integration technologies (ALE/Idoc, XI, WAS)
* Proficient in MS Office applications
* General Programming experience: preferable ABAP

Nice to have
* SAP Functional Knowledge (any of the following modules PP, SD, MM, FI, CO etc.)
* Project Management experience
* Experience working with large trading partners in retail-, movie- or high-tech industry

Education/Experience:
Background in Computer Science, IT management, Engineering, Mathematics (BA or Master degree preferred)
8+ years within customer facing business which utilizes EAI and/or IT Applications: Programming, Configuration and Systems Analysis
5+ years experience with highly integrated and automated applications utilizing EDI communication methods
5+ years experience in high-tech manufacturing, high-tech or retail industry
