SAP BASIS MANAGER

RiverPoint is currently seeking an experienced SAP BASIS MANAGER for a FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION with one of clients located in Bannockburn, IL.

PLEASE NOTE: THE KEY TO THIS POSITION IS EXPERIENCE DEPLOYING AND CONFIGURING SAP BASIS NOT JUST ADMINISTRATION EXPERINECE

 

Responsiblities:

 

The SAP Basis Administrator builds, maintains & modifies the central Basis network and infrastructure for optimum SAP operability and is responsible for configuring, tuning, securing, and monitoring SAP with CRM and BW. Will support the design and implementation phases of a system and/or projects and recommends improvements to strategy, application usage, or process applying knowledge of the business processes in various functional areas. The SAP Basis Administrator designs the computing infrastructure and provides technical assistance and consulting to ERP analysts and users. This position is responsible for system maintenance and their respective services and will monitor and troubleshoot the environment for problems and develops tools for managing the system. Additionally, this position will be responsible for creating standards relating to system administration database management and providing timely implementation of security controls. The qualified candidate must have demonstrated working experience with mySAP ERP ECC 6.0.

Qualified candidates will also meet the following minimum requirements:

 

· Requires a BS in Computer Science or related field, or combination of some education.

· Five years of work experience in a SAP BASIS consulting role.

· Requires previous installation experience for SAP BASIS in mission-critical systems.

· Requires experience with SAP BASIS in test, development, QA and production environments in single or multi-tiered deployments.

· Strong operating system experience for Windows 2000 & 2003. (SAP Basis experience running on a Windows OS required).

· Experience with Windows/SQL and hands on setting up a Clustered Windows environment.
