Job Description:SAP Basis/Netweaver Administrator

Client is seeking an SAP professional who is creative, analytical, and solution-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills. This position will be part of a team responsible for performing system administration tasks to support our current SAP landscape, and future SAP projects. This includes ERP, BI, SAP Portals, XI, MDM, SCM, Solution Manager and other potential modules and technologies. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to long term system strategy in order to meet the company's strategic business objectives.

Job responsibilities:
• Working in a team environment to provide daily support of the SAP application suite consisting of ECC 6.0, SAP Business Warehouse 7.0, Solution Manager, Portals, PI, SCM, and MDM.
• Proactively identify issues & problems with SAP systems, and implement creative resolutions to optimize operations.
• Participate in installations, upgrades, support pack application, and enhancements to the SAP environment.
• Coordination of the technical infrastructure requirements for any SAP system enhancements.
• Work closely with our IT and business customers, providing solid technical solutions to match our business needs.
• Keep abreast with new technologies; give advice on how these technologies could benefit our business.


Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in the IT field or a related field
• Strong knowledge of the following SAP Areas:
o Netweaver 2004s
o Solution Manager
o XI/PI
o BW/BI
o Portals
o Security
• 5-7 years of SAP Basis Administration
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Oracle
• Strong customer focus and project management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and establish positive relationships with customers
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work successfully in both team environment and independently
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Capable of making effective change and comfortable with accepting the associated risks
• Knowledge of ECC 6.0; MDM 5.5; SCM 5.0 solutions a plus
