Resource Management Specialist

AREVA T&D Automation is currently recruiting candidates for a Resource Management Specialist role located in Redmond, Washington. The Resource Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing workforce plans to meet target staffing levels across multiple projects. This position will include the following tasks: Collect, validate and analyze project and orders forecast information to build accurate forecasts of staffing requirements, including maintaining the resource pool information system with input of functional managers, Human Resources and Accounting departments. Conduct gap analysis planning with managers/directors to develop staffing requirements for both short and long term projects. Coordinate with managers/directors/project managers and others as necessary to identify appropriate resources to address gaps in project staffing requirements, by allocation of underutilized resources and the optimization of project schedules. Compile various presentations, reports, charts and tables based on established methods including: Monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; Consolidated management presentations; Ad-hoc analysis and special projects. Develop a long range planning process for capacity and strategic space planning taking into account the forecasted orders intake. All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this Resource Management Specialist opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering or related field. 3-5 years of professional experience in project coordination or in a similar role analyzing and developing projected staffing requirements. Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and workforce planning software. Previous financial or productivity modeling experience. Strong interpersonal, analytical, planning and organizing skills with leadership abilities. Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
