Research and Development Engineer: Finite Element Analysis
ADINA R & D has immediate openings for a Research and Development Engineer in finite element analysis of solids and structures.
Applicants will develop and implement new features in the ADINA System and provide technical support to customers and distributors.
Desirable Job Requirements:
- PhD in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering, aerospace engineering or a related discipline (MSc applicants with exceptional qualifications will also be considered)
- Strong background in solid mechanics or computational mechanics
- In-depth knowledge of structures
- Good knowledge of finite element methods
- Proficiency in FORTRAN or C++ programming
- Good knowledge of pre- and post-processing
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
