Position:  Reporting/BI Engineer




Summary:

Beginning with data sourcing from our enterprise CRM, PSA, and ERP applications, create and maintain analysis cubes, reports, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards that reflect performance against process and outcome targets.  Oversee enterprise application integration and ensure our enterprise applications are correctly exchanging data and processes.

 

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for BI development

o  ETL from all Enterprise Applications (CRM, PSA, ERP, OMS),

o  Data Warehouse and Analysis Cubes development,

o  KPI storage

o  BI dashboard/scorecard development

o  Ongoing work with financial analysts

· Responsible for Enterprise Application integration development and monitoring

o  Data synchronization

o  Process hand-offs

o  Integration monitoring

 

Qualifications:

· Ability to design and create Data Warehouses and Analysis Cubes

· Ability to store KPI data and report on data relative to the targets

· Ability to design create MS SQL Reporting Services reports

· Advanced SQL:  stored procs, jobs and functions

· Ability to relate functional requirements to the data sets needed within enterprise apps

· Ability to design ETL packages to extract data from enterprise apps

· Web services

· .NET application development

 Education 

· Bachelors in Comp Sci related field

 Experience

· Database Development:  5y

· MS SQL Server Analysis Services:  3y

· MS SQL Server Reporting Services:  2y

· .NET:  3y

· BI presentation through dashboards or scorecards

· Business application integration

 Skills/Abilities

All required qualifications, plus some Nice to Have:

· Sharepoint web part development

· MS Scorecard Manager 2005

· MS PerformancePoint Server

· Use of MS SQL 2005 KPIs in reporting

· MS Dynamics GP

· Application integration of one or more:ERP, Order Management, CRM, PSA

· Requirements definition in collaboration with Financial and Business Analysts
