Responsibilities:

You will be employed at Column Technologies as a Senior Consulting Applications Engineer to architect, deploy, support, and in some cases, train the Remedy product to our growing nationwide customer base. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 

· Provide maintenance tips for BMC Remedy applications

· Configuration of BMC Remedy applications

· Customization of BMC Remedy applications

· Conduct Requirements Analysis sessions and customer workshops

· Provide solution designs based on requirements

· Scope and develop custom applications

· Provide system and customization documentation

· System troubleshooting

· Installation and configuration of all BMC Remedy applications

· Implement integrations to the BMC Remedy applications

· Provide technical assistance on pre-sales calls and demos

· Provide project leadership and project management

· Mentor junior engineers

 

You will primarily serve our customers who are located in your region but travel will be required based on project needs.

 

Required Skills/Experience/Education:

· A four-year undergraduate degree

· Demonstrated mastery of documentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; Adobe Acrobat; a graphics editing package such as Photoshop, etc.)

· References indicating a proven track record of working well with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) AND with non-technical managers and project stakeholders

· Experience in business process and/or technical consulting

· Experience with IT systems and technology platforms

· Experience defining and leading IT improvement projects



· Project management experience (on documentation projects)



· Experience with ITIL best practices

· Experience with Remedy software products (also good: software in the same general class and category, as concepts will be familiar)

· Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Asset Management

· Knowledge of ITIL and other IT Best Practices frameworks (ideally, Foundations-certified) (also good: Six Sigma, CMMI, other methodologies)
