RF Design EngineerLocation : Concord, CA Key ResponsibilitiesLead RF design and optimization activities for a GSM network using enterprise post-processing and KPI reporting application for cluster/market acceptance. The job requires performance of routine tasks with limited supervision in order to execute/follow specific instructions on required tasks with expected performance results. Unlike RF I, the RF II technical competence are focused around optimization active activities rather than just data processing. Perform drive test processing and report generation. Perform RF network design, planning and optimization activities. Perform link budget analysis, design criteria and traffic analysis. Ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drive test data for model calibration. Carry out area and site surveys to identify RF equipment location and antenna orientation. Analyze equipment and antenna co-location requirements for different technologies. Perform inter-modulation analysis. Perform site candidate evaluation. Verify RF related site engineering drawings.
