We are seeking a CMM Programmer/ Operator - Inspector, Precision Machine and Sheet Metal Parts Sets up and performs visual and dimensional inspection of machined and sheet metal parts including flat pattern design, fixtures, gages, and completed assemblies to determine precise conformance to specifications, tolerances and workmanship standards. May be required to determine methods of inspection to be used, make complex set-ups, and perform first-article, in-process and final inspection activities. Third-Party vendors WILL NOT be considered for this position.Requirements: The candidate must be proficient in the use of such precision measuring instruments as calipers, micrometers, depth gages, gage blocks, sine plates, height gages, indicators, thread gages and comparator.Experience in CMM programming and operation with Virtual DMIS and the ability to write new programs from customer drawings (FARO Arm experience a plus).
