Quality Assurance Engineer - External Payments Checkout by Amazon team is seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to help us meet our ambitious objectives. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, leadership qualities and is innovative with great problem solving skills. QAE’s regularly work with Developers, Project Managers and SDE-Ts to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAE’s identify use cases and create test cases to validate software design via manual and automated tests; these tests are applied throughout the development and launch cycles. QAE’s provide timely feedback to Developers, and assist SDET’s in development of automated test scripts. May frequently work alone or in small teams, depending on the project being supported, and may be assigned to multiple projects at the same time.· # 2 to 5+ years industry experience testing software.· Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.· Experience testing website applications required. Experience testing in a Linux environment highly desired.· Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.· Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Java, is desired, but not required.
