Job Description:

 

 Support department in all areas of Format QA to include:

 

· Execute test plans on pre-release versions of software.

· Execute test plans on public beta release versions of software.

· Execute test plans on Pre-Tech versions of software.

· Measure and detects program defects with Games under evaluation/test.

· Assess the quality standards of all games. 

· Assist and contribute to various tasks with the maintaining and support of all game test projects.

· Utilize basic Networking Principles.

· Utilize knowledge of Online specific gameplay elements to focus testing efforts.

 

1. Tests software for ease of use, reliability, consistency and absence of program defects.

2. Authors bug write-ups of any defects or design issues found during testing.

3. Ideally has knowledge of commonly used software testing concepts, practices and procedures as related to the Quality Assurance vocation.

4. Ideally has hands-on network configuration experience.

5. Ideally has hands-on game play experience with a console system.

6. May potentially lead software through Format QA by overseeing execution of comprehensive test plan to ensure complete and total test coverage via time management and report composition.

 

PLANNING/IMPLEMENTATION:  The ability to follow project objectives and execute required tasks in a team environment paying close attention to accomplishing objective. 

· Ad Hoc testing

· Test procedure implementation.

· Test environment optimization

· Time effective cross sampling

 

 

Required Skills:

Love of Gaming, Writing/Communication Skills, Highly Motivated

 

 

Required Background: Game/Software testing experience a plus
