Summary:

This position supports client’s current and planned trading systems and software solutions.

 

Responsibilities:Support Back office Trading applications development team Support Research Quantitative Analysts Write SQL, Unix and Perl scripts to retrieve data and support QA, Testing and Development teams Participate as a key member of the software development team Maintain and enhance testing infrastructure and procedures. Participate in production build, deployment and review process.

Requirements:6+ years experience in software quality engineering Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related. Understanding of software development life cycle Ability to work in a task oriented environment Knowledge of Microsoft Visual SourceSafe or AccuRev Scripting (SQL, Awk, Unix, Perl, Python or similar scripting languages/tools)

 

Prior experience working in the financial industry and/or Software Development environment is advantageous, although training in clients systems will be given. Competitive, lucrative compensation package including company benefits, incentive bonus and an informal work environment.
