Reunion.com is one of the largest social networking sites on the internet with more than 25 million active members. As a company whose product is in a sense its’ consumers, it relies on its internal talent to drive new product service offerings and keep subscribers coming back to engage on Reunion.com to add to the dynamic social online network Reunion has become. Our track record of hiring the best and the brightest is what has helped us to stay ahead of the competition with the some of the largest online social networking communities today. Responsibilities: Summary: Reunion.com seeks a pitiless mastermind of automata to fill a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer position in the West Los Angeles area.  The ideal candidate has extensive previous experience working both with industry-standard automation tools such as Borland SilkTest and Mercury Quick Test Pro, as well as developing or augmenting custom automation frameworks in both C#.NET and Java, with a focus on extensibility and maintainability. JDBC experience is a must. This individual will work with the Quality Assurance team to continuously identify areas of regression testing that can be automated, including boundary checking, error state validation, and back-end database validation against an Oracle database. The QA Automation Engineer will prioritize these tests into an ongoing schedule of development and maintenance, will execute automated regression tests, analyze the results, and report any defects to the project team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains a punch list of automated tests to maintain or develop Works with development teams to identify back-end results to front-end activity Identifies and improve the limitations of a proprietary automation framework Assists Quality Assurance team with manual testing, as needed Analyzes process to identify areas of potential improvement Executes new and existing test cases and logs results Documents bugs in our bug-tracking database Retests “resolved” bugs to verify they are fixed Verifies back-end data in Oracle database Monitors and evaluates server log files in pursuit of defects Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience in testing manually testing web-based applications 3+ years’ experience in automated regression testing of web-based applications. Experience developing automated regression tests, including back-end data validation. Proficiency in software development utilizing C#.NET and J2SE 5.0 or better. Proficiency developing queries and stored procedures using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, respectively. Understanding of the impact of data models and data consistency upon application functionality and performance Ability to develop test matrixes, identify test data, and understand use-cases or user stories Understanding of defect tracking, ability to articulate and track bug reports, and comfort with web-based issue tracking & resolution support tools Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. About Reunion.comWith a membership base of more than 40 million and growing by up to one million new users per month, Reunion.com is the leader in keeping people in-touch online.
