QA Analyst with development experience, web based applications, performance testing
Location:Â Austin, TX 78731 Employment Type:Â Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Reference Code:Â 1001141260 QA Analyst Job Description: Create use cases, develop and maintain test specifications, test cases, test scripts and test data, implement test practices, standards and processes, troubleshoot test issues, record test results, track and prioritize defects, participate in product readiness and release decisions and establish fact based measures of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness, responsible for estimating, coordinating, directing testing for multiple products/projects. Required skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Science(or equivalent) 6-10 years of software quality assurance on highly complex and/or multiple projects, including manual test case execution, defect tracking, test plan/test case creation and management, and requirements analysis. Manual test case experience 2+ years software development experience as Client/Server Application Developer or Web Application Developer (J2EE). 2+ years testing web-based applications 1+ years performance testing experience, MVS mainframe development environment, JCL, TSO, Processing batch jobs and working with production development environments.
