QA Analyst - NYC

Description:Job Description:

Utilizing knowledge of software products and sound engineering practices, functionally test software applications against the specification. Work with QA analysts to perform following assignments:Participate in the creation of test plans, test cases and test procedures to facilitate complete product testing as requested or assigned.
Perform smoke tests, software and hardware compatibility tests, regression tests, and end-to-end tests. Test automation experience is a plus.
Troubleshoot problems when they arise.
Write up clear and concise defect reports in bug tracking system. Run bug queries and produce bug reports.
Create test reports and provide QA metrics and feedback to management.
Experience Requirements:1-2 years software testing experience with manual testing skills for web application or client/server software testing.
Knowledge in software testing methodologies and use of a defect tracking system, preferably TeamTrack.
Software performance test experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills required and must be a good team player.
