QA Analyst 1-Milledgeville, GA

When software is designed, Quality Assurance Analysts coordinate tests and observe the initial use of the system to ensure that it performs as planned. They write test cases based on information found in requirements and specifications, flow charts, and process diagrams created by computer programmers. In addition to writing and executing tests, these individuals diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and determine whether program requirements have been met. This position will work with supervisor and/or team lead to develop the expert skills to process this work independently. • Identify defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program - 75%
• Exercise independent judgment to execute and maintain test scripts used to verify whether the software's stated requirements are met - 10%
• Review User Manuals and Technical Documentation for accuracy - 10%
• Provide second-tier Customer Support by reviewing and verifying software defects, issues and enhancement requests reported by Clients. - 5% REQUIRED QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
o Prior knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical services or healthcare background
o Relational database experience
PREFERRED QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
o At least an associate's degree in computer science, information science, or management information systems (MIS).
