Provider Relations Supervisor
MedRisk Inc. is searching for a Provider Relations Supervisor to work under the VP, Networks. The Provider Relations Supervisor will be responsible for providing daily supervision and guidance for the Provider Relations staff which includes Network Coordinators and Network Development (Recruitment Team). Individual will be required to interface with providers and payer clients at various levels as well as with internal departments at various management levels. Individual will also act as a liaison for MedRisk in resolving contractual disputes and service issues with providers and clients as well as assisting clients in resolving provider issues.
Founded in 1994 and based in King of Prussia, Pa., MedRisk, Inc. provides specialty managed care services and automated claims workflow management tools to the workers’ compensation industry. With a demonstrated core competency in physical medicine, MedRisk uses advanced technology and evidence-based research to apply and integrate comprehensive physical medicine, prescription drug, and imaging management solutions to deliver savings that are significantly greater than traditional workers' compensation managed care programs. Its customers include insurance carriers, self-insured employers, third-party administrators, and general managed care workers’ compensation companies.
The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal/telephonic communication skills, organizational skills, negotiation skills, and advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Access Database, contact management database (salesforce.com). Prior experience in a medical (PPO, HMO, Provider Network), insurance or sales oriented recruitment environment is strongly desired for this position. Candidate should be a self-starter who has a proven track record of working successfully as part of a larger team.
Interested individuals must have been in a Client Education and/or Customer Service supervisory role for at least three years. Experience in a Healthcare/Insurance environment; two year degree (or equivalent combo); excellent communication, organizational, problem solving skills and computer experience are required. Individual should possess initiative, ability to troubleshoot and availability to work beyond regular hours if warranted.
MedRisk offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience and benefits programs including medical, dental, life and 401k. This is a full time position for local candidates only. Contract related work will not be accepted.
