Project Specialist

 

Description:

 Meridian KSI is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Specialist to help build and implement solutions for Federal customers’ learning management system needs.  The Project Specialist will be responsible for supporting the project team throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, scope and schedule management, customer communications, testing liaison, implementation and production support, and contract support.

 

Special qualifications/skills desired: Client interface and communication experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to details.Knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle.Ability to define and document customer functional and technical requirements.  Assist with developing and documenting technical design and solution delivery.Ability to work with customers’ project management teams to communicate issues and establish trustAbility to work with all levels of the Meridian organization in a positive, professional manner.Ability to work independently as well as working effectively with a team.Ability to direct and oversee developer activities to ensure adherence to specified requirements and software compliance standards.Manage, track and escalate customer issues.  Ability to work with Project Managers on client financial management and reporting.Ability to meet deadlines for assigned tasks. Minimum 2-4 years professional work experience required.

· Experience with web application a plus

 

 

Educational background required:

· BA/BS in related field (e.g. systems analysis, systems engineering, computer science) strongly desired
