Project Manager/Product Manager

The Agentrics Product & Project Management team supports several of the Agentrics product suites. To support this role we are looking for a project manager with experience in product management/business analysis; or alternatively, an experienced product manager/business analyst with demonstrated experience in structured project management.

The Agentrics project manager will:

·        Coordinate all aspects of a project’s lifecycle in a structured and consistent manner according to the Agentrics Project Management Methodology.

·        Be able to effectively manage different project types including software development projects (involving both internal and offshore development resources), infrastructure-related projects, customer-specific projects and vendor integration/deployment projects.

·        Assist project requestors with the definition and communication of the project scope, goals, and deliverables. This includes working with these requestors to ensure that the proposal follows the formal the Agentrics project initiation/executive approval process.

·        Actively monitor and control project risks, issues, resources and change requests to ensure that the project is delivered in such a way to maximize customer satisfaction.

·        Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

The applicant, at times, may be required to provide product management/business analysis expertise:

·        Collaborate with the customer team representatives to create and communicate a product strategy/roadmap that is consistent with the Agentrics goals.

·        Analyze, prioritize and document business requirements.

·        Review technical design and quality assurance documentation to ensure consistency with the requirements. Maintain a hands-on approach throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that this consistency is maintained through to delivery.

Position Requirements

-        8+ years business or related work experience in a technical. Experience in a retail environment a plus.

-        4+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. 2+ years as a business analyst/product manager highly desirable. Note: Would also consider applicant with these roles/experience reversed i.e. 4+ years as a product manager/business analyst with 2+ years as a project manager.

-        BS or BA degree from an accredited 4-year university is preferred.

-        Knowledge of project management methodologies as they relate to the SDLC and other technical environments.

-        Project management certifications or educational history a plus.

-        Expertise with project management software, such as MS Project and Project Server.

-        Experience within the retail, CPG or manufacturing industries a plus, but not required.
