Project Manager

Piraeus Data is searching for a Project Manager who will manage the delivery of billable consulting services for our engagements. You will be responsible for managing the life cycle of complex, IT projects and responsible for the development of a project implementation plan that articulates our role to the client clearly. Ensures implementation of project/program activities is coordinated with internal teams as well as the client’s internal customers. Acts as primary interface to the client with for the engagements. Candidate must lead the development team of analysts & developers on a project/program assigned basis towards the successful implementation of the engagement. Responsibilities - Self-sufficient in working directly with stakeholders, obtaining and refining requirements. - Develop project scope and functional specifications to an appropriate level of the detail for each project. - Develop project plan and assign tasks to responsible team members. - Track status of project task assignments and update project schedule and organize status meetings. - Research technical issues and manage issue resolution. - Keep stakeholders apprised of project status. - Drive projects to completion with direction from management. - Coordinate projects with external clients. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: - Proficient with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word. Excellent communication skills. - Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. - Understanding of entire Software Development Life Cycle, and ability to incorporate necessary steps into project plan. - Ability to be flexible and juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. - Effective at communicating technical issues to non-technical users. - Demonstrated ability to identify business and technical impacts of user requirements and incorporate them into project plan. - Demonstrated ability to drive projects to timely completion. 5+ years Project Management experience. - Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
