Program Manager

The successful candidate will act as the Program Manager on a Federal Government Contract that requires delivery of professional IT services, hosting/data center services, and facilities services. Duties include:- Relationship Management. Serve in a leadership role as the primary interface between IMC and the government client by taking responsibility for communication, presentations, and client satisfaction within an existing account. - Revenue/Financial Management. Maximize recognition of revenue on existing task orders. Manage profitability and financial performance across all task orders.- Account Growth. Identify additional revenue opportunities within the account and devise a strategy for award of new business. Work with corporate business development personnel to devise teaming strategies, contract vehicles, and other strategies for account growth. - Personnel Management. Supervise one or more technical project managers, lead engineers, financial analysts, and other members of a cross-organization, multi-disciplinary team. - Delivery Management. Develop project plans and schedules. Oversee contract deliverables and ensure timeliness, quality, and content of deliverables to the client. Create staffing plans, establish hiring requirements, and work with company delivery organizations to ensure optimal staffing on task orders. - Reporting and Communication. Prepare and deliver executive briefings, status reports, program review content and other information for communication across the company and to executive management.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. (Work experience demonstrating technical proficiency may be substituted for education requirements.) Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of general experience in federal government contracting; ten or more years must be in position of technical management, project management, and/or program management. Candidate must have experience managing contracts/accounts with minimum annual revenue of $5 million and must demonstrate experience with creating and executing account growth strategies. Candidate must possess excellent client-facing presentation and communication skill. Candidate must demonstrate experience in the management of personnel, funds and other resources. Candidate must demonstrate capability in managing complex multi-task contracts, and the ability to operate within client guidance, contractual limitations, and company business and policy directives. Occasional local travel to company and client sites within West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia is required. Travel beyond the DC metro area may be required infrequently.
