Position Description:

The Production Engineer is responsible for secondary investigations on reported issues, including refining authenticity, scope, and severity on customer reported issues. Defining and documenting a proposed solution for resolution. As well as creating a level of effort (LOE) documents to be used for resolution scheduling with Clearwire. This position is working closely with Production Support Team Lead to escalate high impact issues.Responsibilities include:• Providing secondary investigation of a report issue.• Determining and Providing root cause analysis of issues• Documenting detailed plan for resolution • Responsible for code reviews of software Ability • Working with client developers to resolve interface-related technical problems• Willing to be on-call and/or willing to work off-hours for after hour issues and application releases• Performing software programming activities to supplement team capabilities• Working efficiently & effectively with both internal and external clients.Job Requirements• Bachelor degree or equivalent. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree. • 2-5 years of software development experience in web application environment with any of our core technologies: JAVA, PHP, SQL • Packaged and customized software experience• Ability to be on-call rotation for after hours to support issues and releases• Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and solve issues.• Must be a self-starter; possess excellent communication and organizational skills along with the ability to work well under pressure.• Work experience with CRM, Billing, Provisioning, and Integration of software preferred.• Industry work experience in ISP, Billing, Telecom, or Cable preferred. • Possess good judgment, positive attitude and professional demeanor. • Dependable, with excellent organizational skills.• Strong interpersonal skills, and be flexible in a dynamic team environment.• Ability to multi-task meeting multiple deadlinesOur headquarters is located in St. Louis, Missouri and we have an office in Overland Park, Kansas.
