Job Purpose·Drives to a common Research Production application framework.·Provides platform and tools expertise to Research Solution groups.·Ensures platform governance and on-going coordination.Job Responsibilities·Works with the Application Architecture team to define a common architecture, standards, tools, and frameworks to support Research Production.·Works with other Platform leads to ensure consistency and identify opportunities to converge and/or leverage software, tools, or designs.·Manages a team of Platform specialists who engage in framework design and platform builds. ·Works closely with Solution Leaders to ensure alignment of project needs to framework requirements and scheduled delivery. ·Provides release governance, requirements management, scheduling, and prioritization around platform upgrades/enhancements.·Manages technology POCs related to Research Solutions.·Works with Platform team to develop a comprehensive knowledge management program (aimed at development teams) to include training, documentation, education, and service management.QualificationsRole Requirements(Essential)·Technical experts in architectural design·Understanding of Software products, platforms and trends·Capability to translate knowledge of technology and architecture into pragmatic solutions ·Leadership capabilities to manage remote or indirect resources(Preferred)·International experience, including strong cultural awareness·Understanding of Nielsen product portfolio·Has an understanding of the existing technology platforms within Nielsen
