Product Strategy
McKinley Marketing Partners (www.mckinleymarketingpartners.com) specializes in placing experienced professionals in marketing, communications, and public relations, on an interim as well as a permanent basis.
Our marketers join McKinley’s clients’ teams on an interim basis when additional resources are needed to supplement staff with targeted skills, help manage specific projects, or fill in for colleagues on leave. They are also called upon to fill open permanent positions in marketing and communications within our clients’ organizations.
We seek mid-to senior-level marketing professionals from corporate and/or agency backgrounds with seven or more years of marketing experience. We offer a wide variety of opportunities which change on a daily basis.
The optimum candidate is someone who is available to work full-time (typically 35-40 hours per week, sometimes more), on-site at client location in Washington, DC.
We have an immediate contract opportunity in Washington, DC for someone with 5 plus years of product strategy experience with a focus in enterprise software industry.

• Experience conducting and analyzing qualitative marketing research
• Ability to interact with existing and prospective customers to understand market needs and develop business cases
• Understanding of how to size and segment international and national target markets
• Ability to define a strategic product plan/roadmap and analyze product performance
• Experience developing product pricing strategies
• Experience conducting win/loss analyses for a competitive landscape
• Demonstrated expertise in international core product management processes; pragmatic marketing method preferred
• MBA preferred
