Accountabilities in this role

Identifies market potential, new product opportunities, establishes pricing, positioning and market strategies, competitive analysis, forecasts potential sales, introduces market, distribution/channel issues, and manages mature product/service through phase-out for market segment. Owner of global strategic medication technology message to both internal and external customers. Defines and executes awareness campaigns and promotional activities, publicizing the product through the press, journals, sales force, and alternate distribution channels. Determines customer needs by leading formal or informal market research projects and incorporates results into strategic marketing plans and effective sales tools. Defines and leads the creative direction for new products and enhancements to existing products/services which better meet targeted customers’ needs.  Participate in Business Reviews and 3 year plan creation. Develops and implements marketing initiatives and programs. Plans, organizes, coordinates and executes assigned projects to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals and optimum allocation of resources

 


Qualifications 

 Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Related Field MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.5-8+years experience in marketing; supervisory/management skills 3 years minimum medical marketing experience. HIS, Medical Device Marketing experience.Demonstrated proficiency in: Project management, planning and executionPresentation development and delivery Product documentation to include but not limited to, “Sales Launch Packages”, etc The use of standard market research tools and analysis Proficient with Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
