Sr. Product Manager

We are seeking a results-oriented, experienced Product Manager to specify and manage Networks In Motion’s navigation and team location products.  In this position, you will define and execute product strategy for various LBS products to address both carrier and application developer opportunities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Sr. Product Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring that NIM’s Location-Based Service (LBS) products are the best in the industry. This role offers hands-on responsibility for creating products that meet quality and revenue targets, working in conjunction with sales and development.  You will be expected to specify and manage the on-time development and delivery of NIM web and mobile products that result in strong ROI. This position reacts quickly to global market changes with developed plans and their strategic business implications regarding products and marketing for NIM. (PRD) Product Requirement Documents. (PLD) Product Launch Requirements (MRD) Market Requirements Documents.



QUALIFICATIONS

 College degree in a relevant technical discipline is required; an MBA preferred (or a significant, equivalent and relevant internet and/or product management experience).5+ years in product marketing strategy, planning, development, and product management experience in an Internet-based company and/or with commercial software related products and services. Strong quantitative background, robust data analysis skills and experience in a metric-driven business. Strong technical background around product development (working knowledge of HTML, C++, Java, SQL, experience with databases, and understanding of client/server technology. Ability to work with cross functional groups to develop market requirements (MRD), product requirement documents (PRD), and product launch requirements (PLR). ROI responsibility within the commercial software or service industry.Wireless experience is a plus.
