Role:

This is a product management position reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, responsible for inbound product strategy and requirements and outbound product marketing for Trintech’s AssureNET GL product.

 Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, responsible for providing finance domain expertise for inbound product strategy and requirements and outbound product marketing for Trintech’s applications.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Alone or managing a small team of Product Marketing Managers, provide finance function expertise and market strategy guidance as well as marketing, sales and product expertise to field sales, product management  and the overall marketing team.   

• Provide facts-based competitive analysis to insure that our products provide superior capabilities when compared to the competition and are more effective than our competitors’ products at meeting and anticipating the needs of the financial governance market and our customers.

• Working with the sales organization and the rest of marketing, produce sales facing solution and finance domain sales tools including competitive analysis as well as provide subject matter expertise across financial governance.

 Qualifications

• Passionate market and solution champion with drive to delight customers and win in the marketplace

• Enjoys and utilizes direct engagement with customers to evangelize trends and best practices in financial governance and Trintech’s solutions.

• Candidates should have at least 5-7 years of finance industry experience as well as experience and passion for product marketing.

• Significant experience and domain expertise in operational finance applications

• Current CPA status highly preferred

• Working knowledge of enterprise software applications such as ERP, SFA, GL or financial consolidation technologies.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with technical, finance and business domain audiences, especially customers and analysts, as well as internal audiences in product management, marketing and sales.  Successful candidates will have a strong track record demonstrating an ability to understand customers and their needs and the ability to translate this understanding into a compelling product solution utilizing Trintech’s solutions.



 

Essential Education and Experience:

• Minimum experience of 7-10 years in finance industry experience

• Minimum experience of 5 years product marketing or product management with responsibility for driving product strategy and plans. 

• Significant experience and domain expertise in operational finance applications

• Current CPA status highly preferred

• Significant experience in enterprise software applications such as ERP, SFA, GL or financial consolidation technologies.

• Track record of identifying complete technologies and trends.
