Principle Technical Programmer #36494
Qualifications
BA or BS required.
Strong T-SQL skills and problem solving skills required.
In depth understanding and experience with Microsoft SQL 2000 functions including DTS and stored procedures required.
Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and other computing platforms preferred.
Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools and Informatica tools required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required and ability to work with all levels of personnel.
Proven skill set in applying IS principles and practices to systematically interpret functional requirements into application design and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical customers is required.
Experience with C#/.Net, ASP.NET or Visual Basic preferred.
Experience working with large scale databases in a data warehousing and/or data mart environment required.
Hands-on experience with data modeling and/or database architecture using standardized tools.
Ability to mentor other programming staff and provide technical analysis of proposed applications and their fit into Sharp's computing infrastructure.

The Decision Support Systems Team is an experienced group of nine dedicated to the support of the organization in data reporting and decision making. Responsible for the management of the Informatica platform and data modeling of all future data mart creation. Also responsible for the implementation, integration and rollout of business intelligence tool for enterprise to meet the operational and organizational needs of department decision makers. Works with analysts and technical team members designing a reporting infrastructure and code management system to meet organizational and operational requirements. Supports existing tools and adoption of standard strategic tools to support the Data Warehouse. Must have strong programming, leadership, communication and documentation skills and experience with large scale data bases in a Data Warehousing environment.
