Principal Support Analyst

Principal Support Analysts possess a wide-ranging, in-depth knowledge of multiple supported products and/or applications. They are able to identify the impact of outside influences on a product’s behavior. They understand behaviors in multiple situations and offer assistance to customers regarding product set up, expectations for product functionality and performance, etc., when new variables are introduced. Coupled with product and business knowledge, Principal Support Analysts demonstrate a high degree of vendor knowledge and technical proficiency during problem resolution. They exhibit a comprehensive understanding of multiple product inter-relationships and the architecture and infrastructure of the client middle tier and server software and any peripheral products. Principal Support Analysts perform in-depth research and creative problem analysis and execute advanced troubleshooting procedures to resolve complex issues. They may lead the recreation process for issues, including the installation of server and desktop operation systems and third-party software. Principal Support Analysts proactively identify and address issues; they recognize the customer-base impact and severity of issues. Principal Support Analysts review, write, and analyze query statements. They identify areas for improving system and/or network performance. Principal Support Analysts analyze and interpret application logs and/or traces for multiple products and/or architecture components to assist in the identification of problems. They may assist in on-site customer installations for desktop, peripheral, and server applications and third-party products. They may assist in customer product implementations. Principal Support Analysts serve as a resource and point of escalation for complex issues or situations and may act in a project leadership capacity for smaller-scaled projects. They work collaboratively with customers and/or developers through problem resolution. Principal Support Analysts coach less experienced analysts in product competencies.QualificationsStrong analytical and SQL skills. Excellent written and oral communications skills and a customer service orientation. Prefer experience with healthcare claims software solutions or other healthcare related systems.
