EnterpriseDB is looking for pre-sales engineers to join their team of sales professionals. As an SE at EnterpriseDB, you will be responsible for supporting the sales reps in their online and F2F selling efforts. Proven ability to work with virtual teams domestically as well as internationally is a must. You will be called upon to architect and deliver solution based proof of concepts to our customers. A SE aids the sales reps in qualifying and nurturing a prospect and turning that prospect into a customer. The ideal candidate will be able to provide this assistance with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years pre-sales experience preferred. Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Sybase, MySQL or MS SQL Server. Experience with Linux, Windows and UNIX. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. Strong team player with a positive attitude. May have project lead role. Demonstrated proficiency in at least one multi-user operating system. Ability to deliver technical and business level presentations, solutions demonstrations, strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as required.
