Point of Sale System Analyst



Professional Data Systems, Inc. currently has a position available for a System Analyst in our Wilmington, NC office.  PDS is a hospitality solution provider specializing in the Aloha Point of Sale System by Radiant.  PDS has been servicing clients in North Carolina for over ten years, and currently has offices in Wilmington and Cary, North Carolina.



Our team of experienced hospitality professionals services our clients through implementing technology with management concepts and controls resulting in a positive contribution to the bottom line and increased operational efficiency.





System Analyst responsibilities include:

System configuration On-site installation of POS hardware and software Troubleshooting support issues and providing On-Site Support, Help Desk Support, and Remote Access Support

 

Ideal candidates will have:

  Hotel or restaurant management experience. Formal education from an accredited institution in business, hospitality & tourism, management information systems (MIS) or equivalent professional experience. Customer service minded with previous work experience. Aptitude to learn quickly and perform well under pressure. Ability to work independently within pre-defined company guidelines and policies. Open to a flexible schedule and travel.

 

Requirements:

  Working knowledge of computer networks and operating systems Working knowledge of the restaurant industry Flexible schedule as needed for projects and work load Rotational on-call schedule (typically one week per month) Ability to lift 25 pounds adn move equipment independently Completetion of Aloha learning center modules and successful certification from Radiant Systems within six months of hire
