As a Financials Consulting Professional in the Public Sector region you will be a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to our clients affording them the best possible guidance in upgrades and implementations or on specialized assignments. You will work closely with our sales team on proposal development and sales support. The successful candidate will have experience as an individual contributor, team lead or project manager on 2 or more successfully completed full life cycle PeopleSoft FSCM implementations or upgrades. Experience as a functional consultant in one or more of the following PeopleSoft product areas defines you as a prime candidate for inclusion in our premiere Consulting Service Line: · General Ledger · Cash & Deal Management/Treasury· Grants Management · Commitment Control · Projects · Budgeting · Source to Settle · Billing and Receivables THE CHALLENGE: The qualified candidate will provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. He or she will have subject matter knowledge of relevant implementation responsibility. They will possess database, core applications and web technology knowledge and have specific experience in implementing Oracle solutions and in systems integrations. Job duties are varied and complex necessitating independent judgment. The candidate may have a project lead role. · Travel weekly to client sites and/or provide remote support to our clients for implement one or more of our software business solutions to achieve greater ROI · Lead and/or participate as a team member in all phases of a project including but not limited to conference room pilots, requirements gathering, fit gap analyses, construction, test, cut-over, production and post-production support to provide knowledge transfer and help our clients achieve improved business processes through the use of our software and services · Assist client through all project phases directly or through engaging with other members of our vast Oracle organization · Focus on continuous growth of your skills to maintain high marketability and credibility with clients, partners and co-workers · Complete administrative responsibilities such as timesheets, expense reports and status reports in the designated timeframe · Be a player in Oracle’s quest for continued improvement, growth and achievement PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Positive, professional and energetic team member dedicated to building positive spirit and team rapport · 4+ years overall experience in functional implementations and/or upgrades as a client or consultant team member · Successful completion of 2 full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations in Financials · Effective oral and written communication skills · Experience in assisting with or leading responses to RFPs and proposal writing · Experience in pre-sales, demonstrations and/or presentations · Willingness and ability to travel regularly · Highly desirable: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field· Public Sector Industry experience in Financials as an end user is highly desirable COMPENSATION PACKAGE: - Highly competitive base salary and quarterly bonus depending on experience- Industry leading training at Oracle University - Full range of benefits* Visa sponsorship/transfer is not available.* 3rd party candidates will not be considered. ** Prior to any consideration for this opportunity, Oracle requires that you complete the following 3-step process: · Logon to https://irecruitment.oracle.com and create a user profile· Keyword search IRC1103678 · Apply for the Principal Consultant role As part of Oracle's North American employment process, candidates will be required to complete a background check, prior to an offer being extended.
