We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our Finance team in our corporate headquarters located in McLean, VA! Basic Function: The Payroll Analyst is a new and exciting role within the Finance department to assist with new initiatives and projects for a growing worldwide software firm.  This opportunity will be responsible for working directly with the Payroll Manager to ensure the accurate calculation of all payroll processing and systems related tax functions, by leveraging systems auditing.  Job Duties (include but not limited to):  ¨  Federal and State law withholding compliance in all US states¨  Auditing and maintenance of, any database input into ADP ¨  SOX 404 key control compliance¨  Payroll process documentation and development¨  Owner of the Multi-jurisdiction Project¨  Owner of the Timesheeting Project¨  Reconciliation and final reporting of all Payroll ¨  Approval and coordination of manual check issuance¨  Final reporting of  vacation liability information ¨  Final reporting of quarterly bonus accrual information¨  SUI monitoring and project completion¨  Uncashed check monitoring and coordination of escheat reporting¨  Customer service to all employees Position Requirements:¨  5 Years of Work Experience, in a multi-state payroll environment¨  CPP certification required ¨  Experience with ADP payroll systems¨  Exposure to SOX 404 Auditing ¨  Strong Ability to Analyze Reporting¨  Detail Oriented ¨  Technical Aptitude¨  Proficiency in Excel and MS Access Departmental Requirements:¨  Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks Concurrently¨  Strong Interpersonal Skills¨  Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills¨  High Level Of Integrity¨  Appropriate Handling of Confidential Information¨  Proficiency in MS Office¨  Proactive Assistance to All Employees¨  Timely Completion of Assigned Tasks¨  Completion of/Adherence to goals, objectives, and metrics as defined Working Conditions: Overtime Required Occasionally Level of Position: Supervises and works under supervision; Able to exercise a high degree of confidentiality and discretion with good judgment, at all times. MicroStrategy has over 1800 employees worldwide and our corporate headquarters is in McLean, Virginia, a high-tech suburb of Washington, D.C.
