Part-time Network Operations Engineer (Weekends/Grave shift)

Macrovision Corporation (Macrovision) provides digital lifecycle value management solutions that enable the delivery and enhanced use of software and content. The Company solutions include anti-piracy and content protection technologies and services, digital rights management, embedded licensing technologies, usage monitoring for enterprises, and related technologies and services from installation to update to back-office entitlement management. It markets the FLEXnet licensing platform and the InstallShield suite of software installation, repackaging, and update solutions. The Company also operates Trymedia Systems, a distribution network for downloadable personal computer (PC) games. It develops and markets an array of digital lifecycle value management technologies for three distinct customer groups: Entertainment and Content Producers and Distributors, Software Publishers, and EnterpriseEnd Users.  PART TIME Weekend WORK (2 or 3 days) - HOURLY PAY Must be willing to work Friday - Saturday - Sunday - Grave or 3rd Shift 12:00am midnight - 8:00am Production monitoring of systems in a 24x7x365 environment. Resolve issues following standard operating procedures. Interface and escalate to the Network Operations Management as required. Willingness to learn new technologies and environments - Minimum of 3 years working with PC hardware.
- Experience with setting up, configuration and use of Nagios, Sitescope and HP OpenView.

- Experience troubleshooting and installing operating systems, networking equipment, and software.

 

 

 Pay is $20/hr + 15 % differential = $23.00/hr
