DepartmentProduct OperationsThe Team:Being a member of the Operations team means playing a vital role in the life cycle of our products. Staff in this department ensures that hundreds of thousands of products reach our customers in nearly every country in the world by performing essential tasks such as software production and release planning; manufacturing, quality assurance, and inventory control; and logistics. Other members provide internal support to help the company run more efficiently. Detail oriented individuals who are able to meet tight deadlines will succeed in this fast-paced environment. ResponsibilitiesEstablish and communicate daily workload within Product Distribution.Implement procedures and programs to improve Shipdesk efficiency.Determine and communicate when system changes or service is required to effectively carry out business transactions and increase productivity within Shipdesk.Provide support and ship status to internal customers.Internally interface with Customer Service, Product Coordinators, and Inventory Control on product availability issues.RequirementsBachelors degree in business management, supply chain management, or industrial engineering.Superior customer service skills, excellent organization skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Experience using database applications and business information systems.Independent analytical, problem solving, and self-direction skills with strong attention to detail.Excellent leadership skills.Recommended QualificationsPrior production experience in the software industry.Creative thinking skills.The Company:Since 1969, ESRI has been giving customers around the world the power to think and plan geographically.
