Order Entry Representative

  Pitney Bowes Business Insight seeks an Order Entry Representative   Pitney Bowes Business Insight (formerly Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software and Pitney Bowes MapInfo), develops software to provide customers with innovative solutions in Location Intelligence, Customer Data Quality/Data Integration, Communication Intelligence, and Customer Communication Management (CCM).  The company's solutions are utilized by more than 3,500 organizations worldwide in numerous vertical markets; such as utilities, financial services/banking, retail, telecommunications, insurance and public sector.   Pitney Bowes Business Insight is currently seeking an Order Entry Representative to process and review complex data and software orders from a global customer base.  This position will be based in Troy, NY.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare, verify and sort source documents, and identify and interpret data to be entered Transmits entered information Responds to inquiries regarding entered data and contacts preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data Verifies and corrects data in multiple computer systems Performs other duties as assigned   Education/Work Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training in Customer Service or Order Entry required Knowledge of Excel and Word required Strong customer/client service skills required High attention to detail required Must be able to work extended hours periodically  Specialized Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of Lotus Notes preferred Experience with order processing systems a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively Ability to manage large work load in a time sensitive environment        Pitney Bowes is an EEO/AA Employer
