Oracle Projects Consultant

 Job DescriptionNascent Systems is seeking experienced Functional Oracle Project Accounting consultants for our Engineering & Construction (E&C) and Professional Services verticals.  Candidates need to be well versed in Oracle Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Management, in addition to having strong backgrounds in Oracle Procurement, Payables, Receivables and Assets.  An E&C or ProServices background is highly preferred.  Nascent will not consider those that do not have the minimal Oracle Applications expertise required.Requirements· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations or related field· 5-7+ years experience with the Oracle Applications release 11i; min. of 3-4 full life-cycle implementations and/or upgrades serving as the functional lead for Oracle Projects and being responsible for the integration with Purchasing and the Financials· Knowledge of Oracle Project Resource Management (PRM) and/or Project Manufacturing preferred· Additionally, must be able to assist with pre-sales efforts such as conducting requirements discovery sessions, proposal generation, and client presentations · Ability to lead activities such as requirements analysis, business process design/re-engineering, gap/fit analysis, reporting analysis, application configuration, CRP testing, user training and production support· Ability to assist with the design and testing of client extensions for Projects (Costing and Billing)· Ability to produce functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Enhancements· Strong knowledge of Oracle AOL (flexfields, value sets, menus, functions, responsibilities, request sets, etc.)· Knowledge of Oracle’s AIM methodology or similar implementation methodologies· Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with client users and management, and deliver presentations· Solid client management and consulting skills· Must be open to travelCompensation and BenefitsFor full-time employees, we offer an attractive compensation package designed to rival the financial benefits of being independent, including a competitive salary, on-target bonuses of 15-20% of base salary, hourly above-target bonuses ($50/hr+), and annual profit-sharing contributions.  Additional benefits include:· Full medical and dental (PPO), 401k Matching, LTD, STD, life insurance and company sponsored 529 Plan· 3 weeks vacation and 10 company paid holidays (incl. 2 floating holidays)· 3 weeks of annual training· Company provided laptop and cell phone allowance All qualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen and have the minimal requirements stated above or you will not be considered.
