Job Title: Oracle 11i Applications Database Administrator -eBusiness Suite
Position: FTE
Job Responsibilities:
This position is for a Senior Oracle Applications DBA to install and support Oracle's eBusiness Suite utilizing Oracle RAC running on RedHat Linux. Requires 3 years experience as Oracle Applications DBA in a multi-node multi-tier environment with recent skills in Oracle release 10g and eBusiness Suite 11i. Also, requires a strong understanding of the 11i architecture and the various Application tier and Database tier components.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Install, upgrade, maintain, monitor, patch, and tune Oracle Applications eBusiness 11i and R12, Oracle 10gAS server, and related databases.
• Provide support to developers with trouble-shooting, and performance tuning, including SGA analysis, latch contention analysis, disk subsystem tuning, and SQL tuning of Oracle and custom views and queries.
• Independent assignments and/or project participation such as upgrading Oracle Applications 11i and Oracle 10gAS server, including Discoverer, Portal, AutoConfig, OID and SSO.
• Maintain and develop backup/recovery process for Oracle Applications installations, using RMAN, BCV or scripts for online and offline backups and disaster recovery.
• Create monitors and alerts for user sessions, concurrent processes, table extents and locks for production and test/development systems.
• Oracle Applications patch analysis, planning, and application.
No travel is required for this position.
Required Skills:
• 5 – 7 years out of which a minimum of 3 years experience as Oracle Applications DBA in a multi-node multi-tier data center environment with recent skills in Oracle release 10g and eBusiness Suite 11i.
• Good understanding of the 11i architecture and the various Application tier and Database tier components: underlying objects, schemas/products, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, sequences, indexes, and constraints.
• In-depth working knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments.
• Practical knowledge of parallel concurrent processing, tracing and debugging, defining concurrent managers and concurrent programs, managing database and applications security.
• Knowledge and experience with multi-node and multi-tier applications environments, load-balancing of eBusiness system, Oracle RAC, and Portal, SSO, and 10gAS.
• OS: DELL, Linux, and Windows 2003/XP.
• Languages: PL/SQL, SQL, Linux shell scripting, Java.
• Databases: Oracle 10g, Oracle 9i.
• Experience with tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, Custom-scripting, Toad. Exposure to tools/utilities such as Oracle Discoverer, Oracle ADI, Oracle EDI, Workflow Builder.

Oracle Sr. BA - Operations - # HK - BA
Our Client has a full-time permanent position. They offer a great team and work environment and full Benefits and annual BONUS! This is a functional role in an Oracle eBusiness Suite 11.5.10 environment. The position involves supporting the business and being the bridge between the business and the technical teams. The job responsibilities include the following:
1. Develop an understanding of our Clients business processes.
2. Interact with the functional users to gain an understanding of the needs from the business.
3. Create the user requirements and functional design documents.
4. Create the unit / integration test plans and scenarios.
5. Conduct acceptance testing.
6. Application setups for applicable Oracle eBusiness Suite 11.5.10 modules.
7. Ensure documentation effectively meets the needs of the business and technical team.
Required Skills:
1. Must have excellent analysis and design experience
2. Must be a very good communicator
3. Must have very strong knowledge of Oracle Applications 11i eBusiness Suite 11.5.10
1) The applicant should be familiar with application setups necessary for forms, reports, workflows, etc. Knowledge of flex fields, value sets, lookups, concurrent processing, etc is essential as well.
2) The applicant should be comfortable discussing setups and functionality relating to the listed modules.
a) Primary – Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Shipping
b) Secondary – Mobile Supply Chain, Purchasing, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Transportation, Plant Maintenance, QA, Oracle Process Manufacturing, Production Scheduling
4. Knowledge of the Oracle AIM (Application Implementation Methodology) is required.
Industry Experience Required
1. 9 - 10 years with a minimum of 5 years in an Oracle 11i Applications environment.
2. Candidates with Manufacturing and Distribution industry experience preferred.
